Gorge Crest Vineyards is an award winning winery and wedding venue in Hood River and the Columbia River Gorge. Visitors will be blown away by the view of Mt Hood and the impeccably maintained grounds. The winery and wedding venue is located just 15 minutes from Hood River and 1 hour from Portland. The site slopes gently to the south and has sweeping views of Mt. Hood, the Hood River Valley and the Columbia Gorge. The farm crops include grapes, lavender, and pears. Gorge Crest sits at the base of Underwood Mountain and directly borders several of the area’s premiere vineyards.
In 2004, Gorge Crest launched its initiative to revitalize the farm and built a traditional barn style winery in a wooded portion of the site. Planting of the vineyard and construction of the winery were the first steps in re-creating an economically viable farming operation.
